About PDFComet

A fast, free way to turn Word, PowerPoint and images into PDFs — without the usual catches.

PDFComet started from a simple frustration: most "free" online converters make you sign up, stamp a watermark on your file, or quietly hang on to your documents. We wanted the opposite — drop a file, get a clean PDF, and move on.

What makes it different

• Free, with no watermark. Your PDF comes out clean — no logos, no stamps.
• No signup. No account, no email, nothing to install.
• Private by design. Files are processed in the US and deleted within about 20 minutes. We never read or store them.
• Fast and light. The site ships almost no JavaScript, so it loads quickly on any device.

How it works

You upload a file, it's converted on secure servers, and you download the PDF — then both files are automatically deleted. That's it. Supported formats today are Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), and images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png).

Who's behind it

PDFComet is an independent product built by tarsai systems. We keep it free with unobtrusive ads — and, down the road, optional premium features — never by selling your data.
